August 26: Loving others is Easy when I Love and Accept Myself:
Day 26, Earlier we discussed how easy it is to love ourselves, today we reflect on how that love can influence our relationships. In today's world, many are dissatisfied with their romantic and family relationships, attributing the dysfunction to the other person. "He/She is difficult because…" We release this idea knowing that if we truly love ourselves we cannot help loving others seeing the divine which is within them. Love for others flows easily as we humbly accept ourselves which in turn allows us to accept and love others.
August 27: I Love Myself More Everyday.
Day 27, As we've discussed, love flows easily and is a never-ending resource. Today we allow ourselves to feel the limitlessness of love. Loving ourselves more and more each day allows us to accept that we have not reached the end of our potential for love. There is always more-more love to give, more love to show, more love to allow into our lives. We celebrate the endlessness of love.
August 28: Loving Myself and Being Happy with Who I Am comes Naturally to Me.
Day 28, Today we not acknowledge that we do in fact love ourselves, but that we're happy with who we are too. These feelings are natural to us, in fact they act as a first line and second line of defense against self-doubt and self-criticism. They also act as a defense against negative criticism that comes from others. We've discussed previously that we deserve to be happy- and this is in part because who we are is something to be ecstatic about- we should not only be happy, we deserve to be so happy with who we are that our respect for ourselves is evident in our life and our choices.
August 29: I Love Effortlessly because I Am Love.
Day 29, Today we celebrate that love flows effortlessly through us. Love is not hard, as we discussed earlier, love is part of who we are. We simply just have to allow it, to just let love flow within and through us. Love comes easily and in turn we give love easily. Love is not a tool to use, but is an extension of you, like your arm or heartbeat. At the core of every person is love, Today we remove all the junk that hid this, and just reveal that we truly are love. It's part of who we are.
August 30: I Know I have the Right to be Happy and Nothing can take that Away from Me.
Day 30, Today we hold onto the happiness and love that we have let flow. As love is our birthright, so is happiness. Often we can allow ourselves, others, or even our circumstances to rob us of feel love and happiness. Today we take a stand for the happiness that we feel, and we let it flow freely. As it flows through us and around us, we safeguard ourselves from being robbed of the groundwork we have laid.
August 31: I Love Myself and I Love the World. I Know that Love is Everything.
Day 31, Today, the last day of our August Affirmations, we review the culmination of the month. We let our love flow freely for ourselves, but even more than that, we let our love encompass the world. We affirm that love is everything, that it is the life-force that strengthen, empowers and heals. Love is our most powerful shield, healer, teacher, strength, and it is who we are. Love is everything.
Remember, affirmations are not about achieving a goal, but rather finding peace within. To rewrite the way you think so that you can connect with your inner self and see yourself for who you TRULY are, not who you think you are. As you continue this exercise, make it a daily habit not just to do affirmations, but to rewrite all negative thinking into positive affirmations. For instance, "I can't believe I did that, I'm so stupid" into "I am learning and it is a beautiful process". We encourage you to research for further affirmations, and to work on not just repeating what is written but to dig deep and feel the truth of your words within yourself. Thank you for taking on the challenge for yourself and participating in this journey with us. Join us next month when we explore Affirmations for Finding Peace DURING times of Trial.
Thank you,
