All Your Midmar Memories Our 50 th Edition YouTube Channel
In celebration of a half century of the aQuellé Midmar Mile , we have created a YouTube channel featuring memories from our 50 years as well as tributes to Race Director Wayne Riddin , who has run the race for 32 years , an amazing feat ! We will also of course be bringing you all this weekend ’ s action live , so if you are not able to attend you can still be part of all the festivities . All you need your phone to stream , and if you subscribe to our channel , you will receive notifications when we go live !
You can watch all the action right on your phone via our live stream , which will be broadcast from our website or our Facebook page !
In addition to seeing all the race action as it happens , we have an expert panel to keep you informed on exactly what is going on ! While Arnold Geerdts will be roving around to bring you a behind-the-scenes look at the event . We will also have Martin Godfrey doing commentary at the start , to entertain both swimmers and viewers before they dive in for their mile , and Frank Knowles will be at the finish to bring everyone home ! And there ’ s still more ... We will have race director Wayne Riddin bringing us all the live action from his boat on the water !
