Q-82208 HERDA, HYPP N/N 2010 Brown AQHA stallion 16hh
The journey to buying HEZA RARE MAN was a long one for Vee Eight Performance Horses. I had actually made a
commitment to another colt when I found out that the colts sire was going to be offering frozen semen in Australia.
Having exclusive bloodlines was always my major priority so the agonising decision was made to start searching again.
On top of my list of priorities in this
search, was to find a stallion that in
future years would act as the perfect
outcross for the other wonderful
running bred horses that were already
on offer out here, including my race bred
Paint stallion, Lookin Treasured. Also
the colt would need to have the physical
attributes and temperament to appeal to
a wide range of clients across a number
of disciplines.
After three months of searching
Joleen Hales of Texoma QHs in Madill
Oklahoma sent me a picture of a four
year old colt that she had, which ended
my search almost immediately. She had
bred the colt (Heza Rare Man) and had
him pegged as a future stallion prospect
for herself, and replacement for her
Champion stallion Rare Bar (dec), when
she was given the opportunity to buy
another Rare Bar son that already had
proven progeny on the ground.
Heza Rare Man is bred in the purple
when it comes to Sprint Racing
bloodlines. His sire Rare Bar (SI 114) is a
World Champion Aged Running Stallion.
He had 38 starts for 13 wins, 11 seconds
and 4 thirds. He was 1995 AQHA Racing
Champion Aged Stallion, was a Superior
Race Horse and ran two track records at
440 yards. His LTE were $263,396 and
he earned 457 AQHA points.
He has sired race and barrel earners of
over two million dollars and counting
and also has sired a World Champion
Hunter Horse and Champion Head and
Heel horses.
His dam line is no less impressive being
out of Sheza Fast Image (SI 93) an own
daughter of Heza Fast Man (SI 111),
who continues to be one of the USAs
top broodmare sires. He has LTE of
$801,356, 1994 AQHA World Champion
Racing Three Year Old Colt, setting two
track records at 300 yards. Heza Fast
Man had 17 starts for 10 wins, four
seconds and one third six of which were
stakes races. Sheza Fast Image earned
her ROM and has produced two AAA
race horses. She is a ¾ sister to the great
race horse Osceola Warrior.
Heza Rare Man arrived in Australia in
October 2014 . When I went to pick him
up from quarantine I was very nervous
having never seen him in the flesh, but
when they led him out to meet me he
simply took my breath away. He has
proven to be everything I could have
asked for and everyone who meets him
cannot help but fall in love with this
beautiful lay back colt.
Due to acclimatising, he only covered a
handful of mares last breeding season.
His first foals are due from September
and we are very excited to see what he
produces. We are very confident that ,
not only will he be an asset to the speed

/ barrel horse industry in Australia , but
has unlimited potential to outcross with
other western, english and cattle events.
Heza Rare Man is currently in training
with NSW Barrel Racer, Jodi Kilmartin.
We are all very excited to see him
start competing at the end of the 2015
breeding season.
Heza Rare Man will be standing the 2015
stud season at KNK Quarter Horses. He
will be available to a limited number of
outside mares. His stud fee for 2015 is
$1200. Chilled semen will be available
