Congratulations to all Directors voted onto the AQHA Board.
Trish Wettenhall has been allocated the Amateur Portfolio and
the Amateur Division look forward to collaborating with this
knowledgeable and hard working individual.
TRANS-TASMAN
Congratulations on our team representing Australia, competing
to the best of their abilities and always displaying amazing
sportsmanship. Our team came second by one point, but the
new friendships and the enhanced education of the horses that
you left in New Zealand – definitely Winners in our eyes
AQHA AWARDS MELBOURNE
Congratulations to our Award Winning Amateurs. It was
fantastic to catch up and enjoy a wonderful night at the
AQHA Presentation Night in Melbourne. Dancing, singing and
thunderous applause for all recipients from every table. The
AQHA organised a brilliant night.
Western Australia Amateur Clinic
Thank you Clinician Karen Nicoletto for assisting the Amateur
Division to run the Clinic on Sunday 13th October 2019.
Riders attempted various Patterns and Trail obstacles, received
feedback from Karen Nicoletto on how to improve their
performance and repeated their assessment.

Just wanted to say I had he best time at the clinic on
the weekend - my first ever clinic - learnt heaps of things
- I am so glad I went and well done AQHA for doing this!!
SHOW SEASON
Good luck for the 2019/2020 seasons, I look forward to seeing
all our Amateurs out and about.
Don’t forget to enter the Amateurs Teams Challenge at the
State Shows, a great way to make new friends and chat about
our wonderful horses.
