H PG.43 IS trainer, Gil Galyean, at Paws Up Ranch, Oklahoma, presented Pawsitively Blazing at his first show in September, 2001, in the Texas Lone Star Futurity. Winning Champion in the Open and Limited Western Pleasure, he followed up by winning Champion in the Texas Breeders Classic Western Pleasure. In October 2001, with winnings in excess of US$8500 from his first outing, Pawsitively Blazing was ranked in the NSBA Top Ten 2YO Pleasure horses in the world. Gelded in 2006, Pawsitively Blazing became a successful all-round competitor’s horse, taking many Youth, Amateurs and Professionals to many wins and championships. He was retired in 2010, after winning the Non-Pro Western Pleasure Championship at Equitana, Melbourne, an event enabling the exhibition and showcasing of the Western Pleasure horse. In 2011, he was listed in the Top 10 for Leading Sires. An outstanding sire in his time, Pawsitively Blazing, produced many high quality progeny that excelled in all aspects of competition and continually promote the Quarter Horse breed through their performances at Championships and Futurities.
