Dakota Michaelis rode Strait Out Custom Q-82583, a palomino son of PC Peppys Jack Frost Q-73285 and Destiny’s Delight Q-54553 to time 18.3055 seconds to place second. While a time of 18.3065 saw Olivia Webb running Morn N Te Q-61176, a son of Spectacular Morn Q-14231 and Azures Top Shot Q-46508, finish third. With a time of 20.3345 seconds Danielle Maslen and Little Miss place second and Kerri Badior rode Dusty to finish third with a time of 20.3560 seconds. A 20.8055 seconds saw Kelly-Jean Edwards run Slider to win Division 8. MJ Mapp rode Harley to place next with a time of 20.8405 seconds and a 20.8570 second run saw Jane Keenan riding Sister’s Last Act finish third. Clocking a blistering time of 18.7900 to win Division 4 was Elle Flanagan riding Marjuls Princess. Pat Collins rode Texas Acres Gun Q-82803, a chestnut gelding sired by Skip N Acre Q-77523 and from Mooreduns Last Gun Q-62062, to place second with a time of 18.7925, while an 18.8015 saw Paula Heath ride Epona to place next. This year the ABHA introduced a Maturity incentive into the Open Divisional. This event was for horses aged 7 and 8 years old. Forty horses were eligible for this new incentive and the 2019 ABHA Maturity winner was Leslie Moore and One Heckova Deck A2-3140, a 7 year old chestnut gelding sired by Deck U Too Q-24131 and from Right Away Jet A1- 4525, with a time 17.4465 seconds. Leslie took home Prizemoney and a Rug. Division 5 saw a time of 19.3165 ran by Jessica Gallagher riding Ringer to earn the Championship title. Tamasin Maher rode Maderas Brave Cat Q-83777, sired by Cat N Madera Q-60637 and from Brave Oak Q-62509, to place second with 19.3190 seconds. A 19.3275 recording run saw Erika Quinn riding Charlie place third. Winning the 2019 Patsie Holder Memorial Classic with an explosive 17.627 seconds in Round 1, 17.969 seconds in Round 2 and a time of 17.798 seconds in the Final was Brittany McVicar riding Full Throttle Ta Fame PR-207, known in the Barrel Racing world as Epic. The 2013 liver chestnut mare is a daughter of Seconds Ta Fame Q-64303. Winning Division 6 with 19.8110 seconds was Sophie Cook riding Elle. Sharyn Bauer rode CD Smarty Pep to place next after running 19.8275 seconds, while a time of 19.8380 saw Melissa Torbruegge and Wombramurra Little Diablo Q-80311, sired by Hos Style Q-50810 and from Micro Chick Q-28938, place third. With 17.902 seconds in Round 1, 18.010 seconds in Round 2 and 17.956 seconds in the Final Cheyenne Whitwell rode Gift Of Fame Q-84844, a bay son of Seconds Ta Fame Q-64303 and from the daughter of Morn Deck Q-2160, Vogue Of Morn Q-24808, to earn the Reserve Championship title. Division 7 was won by Jaimee-Lee Prow riding Boonstyle Fame Q-91785, sired by Seconds Ta Fame (imp) Q-64303 and from Boonstyle Kat Q-45321 with a 20.3055 second run. Hilary Thrift rode RC Bob Q-76809, a son of Bobs Hickory Rio Q-58671 and Spin N Hums Q-41998, to finish third in the event after clocking a time of 17.906 in Round 1, 18.108 in Round 2 and an 18.007 in the Final from a field of Fifty-Seven entries.
