PG.14 AQHA FEATURE s e m l o H Chris Chris Holmes on Jaded Potential Q-78405 - aka Tag Some proud final words from his mentor, Kate Elliott, sum up Chris perfectly! Chris Holmes on Satchmo’s Mensa Cat Q-78933 - aka Gary ‘With few gentlemen in the modern world,’ says Kate. ‘It’s easy to be impressed by the combination of exemplary conduct, communication, respect, and kindness towards animals, in a young man. Chris Holmes represents all this and more. The selection of Chris for a Leadership Position amongst his peers at the Youth World Cup in the USA, in 2018, was a well-considered choice. Recognising his desire to excel, Chris was offered Oaks Moon Dust, to show in the Reining and Western Riding. This eventually led to his purchase of Satchmos Mensa Cat, to pursue the thrill and excitement of Reining. The dream was strong and the chase was hard. Chris excelled throughout many challenges, and continued to develop his precision, presentation and performances to the outcome achieved to date.’ F AUSTRALIAN QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION - WWW.AQHA.COM.AU
