The Board of Directors has some changes
that reflect the membership needs, and this was
accomplished by the Associations election process at the
recent AGM held in Melbourne.
I would like to welcome to the newly elected Directors,
Kate Elliott and Kyle Mobberley. Kyle was successfully
appointed Professional Trainers and Clinicians portfolio
for the next 12 months.
Paul Lorimer and Ricky Glen were re - elected to the
Board for a further three year term.
Trish Wettenhall wasn’t selected by ballot, however her
services and commitment to the AQHA needs recognition.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for the
last 12 years and dedication to the Association.
The Q17 Program has been finalised and released by the
Board and this will be released to the members shortly.
You can find a copy on page 50-52.
We have implemented the Stud Book sub-committee
criteria, with demonstrated longevity in our industry
and qualifications now paramount for these positions.
This will be finalised by the Board at the December Board
meeting.
In closing the AQHA and I would like to thank the
members who participated in the Election of the Directors
and the Amateurs that completed the recent Amateur
Division survey.
I look forward to another successful
term with the newly formed Board
of the Association.
