This year, the Intermediate divisions shone brightly, with 24 Intermediate Riders entered and record numbers in Intermediate Youth and Intermediate Horse. The camaraderie and encouragement among these divisions were a highlight of the event— riders helping riders, cheering each other on, and celebrating every success, big or small. It’ s this sense of community that lies at the very core of the RHAA and what makes it unlike any other equine organisation in the country.
THE SPIRIT OF COMPETITION At the top end, the competition was fierce and worldclass. The Open, Amateur, Select, Masters, Junior, Senior, and All Age Horse divisions displayed horsemanship and horseflesh of international Calibre.
One of the show’ s defining moments came when the Australian Stock Horse“ Rothburn Khaleesi” captured both the All Age Hi Point and the coveted Circle Y Trophy Saddle, awarded to the highest-scoring horse and rider combination across all eligible classes. This achievement symbolised the exceptional talent, training, and partnership that Australian riders continue to deliver on the Ranch Horse stage.
