AUSTRALIA’ S LARGEST RANCH HORSE EVENT EVER HELD
From October 1 to 6, 2025, White Park in Scone, NSW, became the vibrant center of Australian Ranch Horse competition, hosting a premier event that showcased the nation ' s top equine talent and horsemanship. 148 horses and riders from New Zealand, QLD, NSW, Vic and SA came together for the Marsh Carney Saddlery RHAA National Show— the second ever National Show to be held by the RHAA and one that officially earned its place in history as Australia’ s largest-ever Ranch Horse competition.
This year’ s Nationals brought together every element that makes the Ranch Horse Association of Australia( RHAA) so unique: horsemanship, heart, and community. Competitors, families, and spectators filled the grounds for six unforgettable days of competition and camaraderie— a true celebration of the working horse and the people who love them.
A GLOBAL TOUCH: JUDGED BY THE BEST Bringing an international perspective to the Australian stage, Bozo Rogers, a highly regarded AAAA NRHA, AQHA, and RHAA judge from the United States, presided over the event. With more than 1,200 runs judged across ten core ranch disciplines, Rogers’ expertise and insight elevated the show to an entirely new standard.
Classes regularly exceeded 20 competitors, showcasing not only the incredible growth of the RHAA but also the rising standard of Australian ranch riders. Rogers commended the depth of talent across all levels, describing the standard as“ competitive on an international level.”
His involvement reinforced what many already know— the RHAA is Australia’ s fastest-growing equine association, with an unshakable commitment to fostering skill development and authentic ranch-style competition.
FOR EVERY LEVEL OF RIDER AND HORSE The RHAA prides itself on offering opportunity for everyone— from the first-time competitor to the seasoned show hand.
Our Green Rider and Green Youth divisions continue to provide a warm welcome for those new to competition, restricted to walk – trot classes that build confidence and introduce the spirit of showing. Whilst the Green Horse division also continues to grow, offering an ideal stepping stone for young horses or those yet to experience the show pen.
