The Ranch Horse Association of Australia was formed in October 2022 , led by Sue Williams , President & AQHA Honorary Life Member , and is dedicated to supporting the growth of the free moving , versatile working horse , whilst providing uniform guidance & rules suited to Australian competition .
Its objectives being to support & encourage riders with all levels of experience and any breed of horse to enjoy competition . Having issued it ’ s 700th membership , the AQHA recognised the RHAA as
an Approved “ National Performance Body ” on 1st August and the two Associations continue to work collaboratively .
Dates are locked in & planning is well underway for the RHAA 2025 Queensland & Victoria State Shows , as well as the National show , which will be running over 7 days in October . Membership & EOY Hi Point criteria also available , the 2024-2025 season runs in line with the AQHA 1st August to 31st July .
