Q26 once again proved why it remains one of the premier events on the equine calendar, bringing together competitors, families, breeders, trainers, and supporters from across the country. The event featured strong competition across multiple disciplines, highlighted by exceptional horsemanship, quality cattle, and a dedicated team working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of the show.
On behalf of the AQHA Board, sincere appreciation was extended to the many individuals and groups whose efforts contributed to the smooth running and continued growth of the event. The outstanding Show Team of Jeff Hall, Karen Goodall, Tonya Turner, Lee Ann Hall, John Steel, Ralph Dunn, Carol Ricketts, Melanie Halligan, and Renee Atfield played an instrumental role behind the scenes, ensuring every aspect of the event operated seamlessly throughout the ten days.
The ever-popular Barrel Racing program once again drew excitement and enthusiasm, with the Moonbi Magic Committee and its members delivering a professionally run and entertaining competition that kept spectators engaged throughout the event.

An event of this scale relies heavily on quality livestock, and special recognition was given to the dedicated cattle suppliers including the Rea Family, Goonoo Goonoo Station, the Capel Family, the Miller Family, and the Tonkin Family. Their contribution provided competitors with outstanding cattle throughout the event.
Appreciation was also extended to the hardworking backyard crew of Dave Kennedy, Hayden Clarke, and Jaidan Atfield for their tireless support during the show.
The professionalism and expertise of the judging panel were another important component of Q26’ s success. Judges Brendan Brown, Chris Brown, Greg Brown, Fred Johnson, and Nikki Morgan were acknowledged for their dedication, fairness, and commitment across all disciplines during the event.
No major event can succeed without strong sponsor support, and Q26 was no exception. The contribution of valued sponsors once again played a vital role in supporting competitors, promoting the industry, and helping deliver an event of the highest standard. Capturing the atmosphere and excitement of the show were media team members Ev Lagoon and Tyler Palmer, whose coverage throughout the event allowed competitors and supporters to relive the memorable moments that made Q26 so special.
At the heart of the event, however, were the AQHA members themselves. Their passion for the breed, commitment to competition, and ongoing support of the Association continue to drive the success and growth of the Australian Quarter Horse industry.
A special acknowledgment was also extended to AQHA General Manager Gemma Clarke, whose leadership, dedication, and vision continue to elevate Q26 year after year and help ensure the event remains a highlight on the national equine calendar.
As another successful Q event draws to a close, Q26 has once again reinforced everything that makes the Australian Quarter Horse community so unique outstanding horses, strong competition, lifelong friendships, and an unwavering sense of community spirit.
