The Classic Ladies Foundation is a compassionate group of women from various parts of Australia, all associated with the vibrant Campdrafting industry and its communities.
Congratulations are in order for the Foundation, which this year celebrates 10 years of dedicated service— a remarkable achievement by all involved. Over the years the Foundation has generously supported many organisations! Each year, the Foundation selects different causes to benefit from their efforts. Blythe says that she felt very honoured to be involved with the Classic Ladies, who have selflessly dedicated their time and effort to support these worthy organisations, donating all proceeds from their fundraising directly to their chosen annual charities.
Young Ambassador entrants were in the saddle in the main arena, each as a flag bearer. Blythe rode the lovely gelding, Mallees Lucky Oak A1-12000, by Lavender Malabu A1- 10979, and as the Australian Quarter Horse Association representative, proudly carried the AQHA flag.
No stranger to competition herself, Blythe competes in Campdrafting, and recently won the Maiden 4 Maiden at the Armidale Campdraft on Lavender Blossom A1-10978, a mare by Destination Unknown Q-45790. Blythe also competes on Blossom’ s full sister, Ultimate Destination A1-10401.
‘ The aim of the Classic Ladies Foundation- Young Ambassador Quest is to support and empower young women, who participate in, and have a passion for the sport of Campdrafting, and who are interested in getting involved in the Foundation’ s fundraising efforts. This year, the Classic Ladies came together at the Nutrien Classic to raise awareness and funds for their 2025 charities of choice, Syngap Research Fund Australia & Heart Foundation.’
Along with twelve other Young Ambassador entrants, Blythe played a vital role over the ten days of the Nutrien Classic Sale and Campdraft, providing essential support to the Classic Ladies Foundation in their fundraising efforts, and helping to sell a significant number of tickets for the popular ' Monster Raffle.'
