Paula and Boss were awarded the 2024 WAQHA State Show High Point Amateur and Senior Horse, the 2024 AQHA Runner Up High Point Amateur of WA, and the 2023 AQHA Runner Up High Point Trail Horse of Australia. Paula believes their journey has just begun and says that the LJK and Break O Day Team are all absolutely wonderful. After a break from showing, she says it’ s been refreshing to be part of a training barn that’ s kind, supportive and caring of each and every rider. While she does love Western Pleasure, Paula really loves showing Boss in all-round events, and believes that Boss will be her next all-round champion.
‘ Boss is fun to show and certainly shines in his pattern events, too, so I’ ll continue to develop my partnership with Boss, do more shows, and strive to win a Trail title. That’ s definitely on my dream list, and something I’ ve never achieved in showing. Boss is definitely capable, but I need to learn more in Trail to match his talent! Lana will continue to campaign Boss. He’ s a one-in-amillion, amazing soul and I can’ t wait to see what our future holds.’
