It may come as a surprise to many that Sprint Racing has had a resurgence in this country , albeit on a smaller scale but nevertheless it is happening . For more than ten years now communities in Northern Queensland have stoically gone about the business of short distance racing , without fanfare , and have done a remarkable job to get it to the standard it is today .
