Kirk & Tracey have more of Roosters Lil Darlin ’ s progeny being readied for their particular Futurities — colts , Kit Kat Sugar for 2024 , and Rollz Royce for 2025 with Tyler Hodgman , while gelding , Smooth Talkin Style , is being prepared for the NCHA Premier Sale .
‘ I bought a One Hellofa Spin Q-42160 egg from Raelene Higgins ,’ Kirk explains . ‘ It was a birthday present for Tracey , and we bred her to One Time Pepto Q-65433 . The resulting filly , foaled in October 2010 , was One Hellofa Time Q-70519 . This mare was later shown successfully in Open NCHA events by Heath Sinclair , and she ’ s now been drafting with Dave Thorn for a few years . She and Sorta Smooth are both heading to Willinga , and will be competing at Nutrien , where they ’ ve competed every year since they started drafting .’

One Hellofa Time ’ s first foal , Smooth N Then Some , by Smooth As A Cat Q-78992 , was foaled in 2014 . A lovely dark brown mare , Katie was trained by Scott Campbell , showing successfully throughout her aged event years . In her first year at Toowoomba , she and Kirk ended up Reserve Champions in the Non Pro Classic . Due to Covid , the talented and cowy mare unfortunately missed most of her Classic years .
