Warren also took out the AQHA sponsored event L4 Open Derby title on board David & Jane Manchon ' s ' NPH Gunner be a Goodnite ' to make it a trifecta including his Open class & Futurity win .
In the Mick Taylor Reining Non Pro Futurity , Victorian rider Cameron Halliwell once again took honours on his home bred gelding ' I ' ll Be Riding Shotgun ' making it RA Futurity number nine for the $ 200,000 Non Pro . Cameron and his partner Keiran Moses shared accolades in the Central Steel Build Non Pro Derby the previous night , both on horses by their stallion Gottagetagunner ( AQHA - Sniper Gun ).
The 2023 National Champions were crowned in the ancillary classes with great representation from members throughout the country , even West Australian competitors making the big trek over to Tamworth NSW .
