Dixie Lane is bursting at the seams with style inspiration; with
spring on our doorstep there are plenty of new arrivals to have
your spring/summer wardrobe ready. “In 2020 we launched our
‘Shift Gear Movement’ encouraging women to overcome their
self confidence issues and wear what they love. Hoping to inspire
women to shift their mindset and embrace their uniqueness.
Something that is very close to my heart,” says Steph.
Another concept that has been created from the covid crisis is “The
Runway to Ranch Fashion Show”, allowing ladies to get dressed
up with nowhere to go but posting their photos and videos of
themselves in their best for some great prizes. Steph explains the
concept “Jodi from Runway to Ranch reached out after coming
up with the idea of creating a virtual western fashion show. With
all of the regular events cancelled that would normally see ladies
in the industry dressing up in their favourite outfits, she wanted to
give them the opportunity to still do that during the Covid crisis.”
“When we were approached to be part of it, we jumped on board
as a major sponsor without hesitation. Entrants submitted photos
and videos across a variety of categories for their chance to
win not only the category titles with over $3000 prize pool but
an all-around cowgirl and reserve all around cowgirl title who
both received an Australian Western Fashion Show trophy cuff
bracelet. The fashion show aired on IGTV announcing the finalists
and winners in August 2020.”
“The last 3 years have been a whirlwind of ups, downs, excitement,
grit, determination, sacrifice and growth, but every success,
milestone and challenge has made Dixie Lane what is today and I
couldn’t be prouder,” reflects Steph.
“I definitely haven’t been able to achieve all of this on my own.
Many friends have lent a hand and my family have done anything
from babysitting to coming on the road plus EVERTHING in
between. I can’t Thank You all enough!”
“We have an amazing network of customers that continue to
support us and make this dream a reality. Without you we wouldn’t
be here. This is only the beginning for Dixie Lane and I am so
excited for what the future holds.”
The pop-up shop in Inverell has become a permanent fixture at 9
Otho Street, Inverell. “Once our events start back up, we will once
again hit the road and keep chasing those white lines, however,
you never know what could happen as far as a permanent store”.
My goal is for Dixie Lane to become a stand alone,
reputable and recognisable brand in the Western
fashion Industry & Aussie culture clothing market.
