This year, we grouped the Survey results into your specific States, thus enabling us to understand the needs of our members dependent on their location. This allows the Committee to develop programs that are relevant to each state. Remember, that your ideas and sugges- tions are sent to the AQHA (unanimous- ly), so this is a solid communication link with your Directors and Administration. The results will be in the next magazine article. This year we would like to see every Amateur (Amateur, Select and Novice) is in a team. Amateur Teams Challenge Winners 2018 QLD Gatton QH State Show Janet Mansley Kerry Derksen Rosie Webb A bigger CONGRATULATIONS to all the Affiliate Clubs that run our wonder- ful shows and all the volunteers that make ‘the world go round’. Jodi Jakubenko  Mobile: 0401 292 843 Email: [email protected]   Carol Ahern  Mobile: 0419 879 105 Email: [email protected] Congratulations to all our Hi-Point and Reserve Hi-Point winners throughout Australia. The 2018/2019 show season is beginning, so start brushing, brushing and brushing... then riding, riding, riding. Remember to say those magical words, Thank You, to all the Committee mem- bers and workers. A nice word can put a smile on the face of a tired person. Food for thought: not many people remember who won specific events at shows, but we all remember the people that made us laugh or helped us in some way. The free Clinics are beginning to be developed, so make sure that you have renewed your AQHA Membership. Only current financial members will be emailed the links for the Clinics, etc. The Amateur Division Teams Challenge is a great way to meet new people, it gives you a reason to chat to Amateurs that you do not know or are outside your friend- ship group. Every Amateur should be in the Teams Challenge at the State Amateur encompasses Amateur, Select Amateur and Novice Amateur. Finally, thank you to the Amateur Divi- sion Committee for their hard work and dedication. Onwards and upwards!
