JET BOOM WAS BRED BY BUD WARREN IN OKLAHOMA , USA IN 1971 . HE WAS A SON OF THE IMMORTAL JET DECK AAAT AND OUT OF THE REALLY WELL BRED MARE , SHADY LENA .

He carried the bloodlines of both Sugar Bars and Leo . Jet Boom was imported by Winderadeen Corporation in 1972 and although bred to race , never saw a track . During the 1970 ’ s he was campaigned by Phil Webb for Winderadeen and was one of the greatest and most versatile horses seen in this country .

• AQHA Championship title and Superior Awards in Reining , Western Pleasure and Western Riding .
• Register of Merit ’ s were awarded in Halter , Western Pleasure , Reining and Western Riding .
• Bronze Century Awards were awarded in Western Riding and Western Pleasure .

He was a stunning Cowhorse to watch in action and was the icon that western riders aimed for when training their horses .
His performances were outstanding but , it is as a sire that his influence has proven truly great . With a total number of 256 registered offspring , Jet Boom produced outstanding performers in many fields from Eventing and Hacking to Cutting , Rodeo and Sprint Racing as well as Western Performance champions .
His daughters are truly in demand for breeding those outstanding performance horses everyone wants . Jet Boom mares have produced top class performers in many fields including Cutting , Western Performance and Rodeo work .
He has produced 13 AQHA Champions and seven Youth Champion horses . Included in his great list of performers are : -
• Horses like the mighty Jet Watch – winner of the 5th All Australian Sprint Racing Futurity .
• Winderadeen Just a Babe ,
• Cagii Boom .
• Beggar Boom - AQHA High Point Rodeo Horse of Australia .
• Winderadeen Kameo Boom - winner of all the major two year old Western Pleasure Futurities .
• Hollywood Lena – NCHA High Point Cutting mare of Australia in 1985 .
He is the paternal grandsire of outstanding performers such as : -
• Yulgilbar Elegant Chick
• Peppys Little Jet - top Non Pro Cutting Horse
• Somerosa Zips Boom - NPHA Junior Western Pleasure Champion and Amateur Junior Western Pleasure Champion .
• Winderadeen Boomer - a top Pleasure horse .
Winderadeen is very proud to have been associated with such a great horse and to lose him in June , 1997 was a great loss .
His entry into the AQHA Hall of Fame is indeed a great honour for him . His contribution to serious Quarter Horse breeders in this country has been , and will continue to be , outstanding .
