‘ DREAM DISCIPLINE , DREAM HORSE !’
A late starter in competitive riding , this competitor did find success in a few disciplines . But she ’ d always felt there was something missing . Luckily , after some good advice , a great horse and some fantastic , dedicated people around her , she finally found that missing piece . . . her dream discipline !
Tracey Strelitz did not come from the typical horsey background , and didn ’ t even begin riding competitively until she ’ d turned 25 . She briefly entered a few Campdraft events , keen to have a go at something , but soon realised it was unlikely that she ’ d continue on with the sport . The experience , however , did prompt her to want to become a better rider . She made the decision to give Dressage a try , and finding that she really enjoyed it , rode competitively in the discipline for many years .
