Mac ’ s liking for Ranch Riding as the pair took home the buckle for High Point Youth Ranch Riding of Australia for the second time .
In late 2019 , when Tigger was finally ready for the showpen , it was decided that he ’ d take over some of the slower events such as Hunt Seat Equitation and Horsemanship . Though he ’ d missed out much of his Junior Horse years & was , at times , a challenge , his quirky & almost puppy-like personality kept Brianna on her toes .
Once home , they competed at the Queensland State Show in the open 14-18yrs Youth category , the show making Brianna realise the importance of versatility . They ’ d entered every class on the program , winning only one or two individual classes , but had still won the High Point award ! It was an overwhelming achievement for Brianna , as this was her first time competing in a big show as an Open Youth . End of the year awards highlighted
‘ Over the next few months Tigger began to really perform & we started to put it all together . With the 2019 / 2020 being my final Youth year , I did as much as I was able to and travelled to different arena ’ s to show Mac & Tigger . Our first big show together was the 2020 NSW State Show at K Ranch in Sydney . I showed Tigger to win the Youth Show Hunter , and Mac to win the Youth Ranch & Youth Showmanship . A great start !’
