The Jewel in the Crown of Campdraft-
ing, the Pryde’s Warwick Gold Cup
was held from 22nd – 28th of October.
Once again the AQHA supported its
Campdrafting members, with bonuses
for the highest scoring registered Quar-
ter Horse in the different Campdrafts,
where the owners were financial mem-
bers and the horses were registered
with the AQHA at the time of the
event.
The recipient of the AQHA $1000
Bonus for Pryde’s Easifeed Gold
Cup Campdraft was Broomfieldstylish
Diamond Q-69904, owned and ridden by
Steve Comiskey and the Breeder Bonus
of $500 also went to Broomfieldstylish
Diamond’s Q-69904 breeder, John Peel.
This combination was also the winner of the
Gold Cup.
The next event for the AQHA bonus of
$500 was the Frasers Livestock Transport
Stallion Campdraft and it went to Reys Ya
Garter Q-59611, ridden by Hugh Miles and
owned by Corey and Trudy Holden.
The Warwick event attracts the cream of
the Campdraft scene and offers five huge
Campdraft events, Pryde’s Easifeed Gold
Cup Campdraft; the Black Toyota Canning
Downs Campdraft; the Vanderfield Hino
