Australia ’ s Greatest Horseman Event attracted some of Australia ’ s best horse and rider combinations .
Starting the competition was 2 handed cutting and Drywork down the fence segment to narrow the field down to their top 15 horse and rider combinations .
Some big cheques for the first go round , top horse and rider combinations in both Drywork and Down the Fence as well as the Two-Handed Cutting Segments were presented as the Top 15 Finalists were announced .
This year saw the inclusion of the $ 10,000 4 years and Under Class for both our reining and challenge competitors .
Country Trucker Caps 4yrs & Under $ 10,000 Feature Event certainly had the crowd excited with a talented line up of Futurity Horses showing their skills in the showpen . Championship Title went to Lana Kelderman riding Nu Too Much where she took home a championship buckle , garland and a cheque for $ 5,000 . Reserve Champion - Chris Gould riding Checkout My Shiner receiving an ARBC Championship Rug and a cheque for $ 2,500 . 3rd Place - Ashley Backhouse riding Sherons Shining Sonita . 4th Place - Warren Backhouse riding Q Vista Shooting Star . 5th Place - John Wicks riding Dunitallkindachic . 6th Place - Evie Gilmore riding Google Chrome .
This years ARBC Rockin W Ranch Rookie Shootout saw our top 10 Rookies laying it all out there to compete for this beautiful ARBC Trophy Saddle kindly sponsored by Wade Farquhar owner of Rockin W Ranch . This years winner being Natalia Kritikou riding Sherons Shining Sonita . Such a deserving win Nat , congratulations also to Trudy Stone for coming in Reserve Champion in this amazingly strong lineup . “ Congratulations to all 10 of our Rockin W Ranch Rookie Shootout Finalists ”.
This year saw the running of the much-anticipated ARBC Australia ’ s Greatest Horseman event , with competitors running for a prize pool of over $ 40,000 . The ARBC Inaugural

Presentation of the cheques were made after the Drywork and Down the Fence segment of the AGH and the 15 finalists announced . Friday morning saw the 15 finalists complete their 2 handed cutting segment , leading into the evening finals on Easter Friday . The cutting component of this feature event was judged by Ken Cullen and Glenn Wyse .
