As the ARBC Show has grown so too has their support teams behind the scenes ensuring the show runs smoothly and everyone ’ s needs are not only met yet expectations exceeded . Lynda Gray our show secretary works diligently before during and after this sized show and we thank her and the team of helpers that assisted her throughout the show . Our gateman John Wylie and announcer Julian Kingsford ensured the show ran on time and kept all competitors informed on the schedule for the events . This year we invited a strong team of 5 reining judges to officiate the reining events , Darren Simpson , Donnie McLaughlin , Errol Thomas , Jason Wordsworth and Glenn Wyse and were assisted with a full team of pencillers , Sharon Simpson , Devin Lowe , Kerry Hoffmann , Skye and Tony Bryers . The Challenge , Australia ’ s Greatest Horseman judging team consisted of Darren Simpson , Errol Thomas , Glenn Wyse , Ken Cullen and Bomber Lancaster , with all our judges and support teams being cared for by Lorraine Wylie , our ARBC hostess for all officials . Jim & Bec Ryan not only ensured the cattle events scoring and announcing was spot on , they certainly made this side of the ARBC streamline and professionally run , with Jim officiating as MC at the OPENING Ceremony for the show .
The One Roan Peptos Western Dressage Championships also had a strong support team with Lisa Berg officiating as our show secretary with the assistance of Laurel Davis and we thank them for their amazing passion for the sport . The WD Judge Steve Thake excelled at judging over 70 tests for the day with the assistance of a scribe team consisting of his wife Anne and Laurel Davis . The arena surface saw not one but two Thomas Arena Drags used simultaneously by Alan Cooper and Errol Thomas , a sight to behold and cutting arena maintenance and drag times in half and ensuring it was just right for each of the disciplines utilising it . To keep the entire grounds and facilities in tip top shape and helping the show to go on under the tight covid directives , we also had Shane and Daralyn Davies along with their team keeping the entire space immaculately
