BRIANNA hails from Kootingal , on the outskirts of Tamworth and grew up competing on the Rodeo circuit , watching her parents and finding her love for Barrel Racing that continues to this day .
This is the second time Brianna and ‘ Smokin ’ have taken home the Open division Barrel Race buckle for the fastest registered Quarter Horse at the AQHA Nationals . The pair is an impressive team to watch ; not only is the gelding polished in appearance , but he is aptly named .
Having grown up around horses , her love of them is something developed from her mother , Jacquelyn , a huge inspiration in her life . “ We both have a deep appreciation for old bloodlines such as Morn Deck and Traditional Rock , who we have been lucky enough to own some great horses out of . I am very excited about the next generation we are getting going with bloodlines out of great horses such as Seconds Ta Fame and Flashy Pepto ,” says Brianna .
