PRESIDENTS REPORT ~ CAROL RICKETTS
The last 12 months has produced a very frustrating time for our members that show their quarter horses in all disciplines . Shows have been scheduled , then cancelled , and then rescheduled .
Lack of cattle affected the Cutting and Campdraft section of our industry in the latter part of 2020 .
Some of the major shows are getting back on track and the AQHA finally held a National Championship Show in April 2021 . I take this opportunity to thank all the Sponsors , and members , that came forward to support Q21 .
Our Affiliates are being pro-active and are pushing forward with their plans for the 2021 / 2022 Show season , we wish them all the best and we appreciate the assistance that they give to the AQHA members and the AQHA .
We know that our breeders are thankful that the Covid lockdowns did not greatly affect the breeding season , even though Covid did affect sales late last year , we can see from the Nutrient Sale 2021 in Tamworth , sale of quarter horses is on the rise .
Your Association is there for you , the quarter horse enthusiasts , any queries you may have , please do not hesitate to contact the AQHA Office or a Director .
