Scott trained and competed on the great mare ‘ Turpentine Acres ’, an incredible athlete with outstanding cow sense . She had a brilliant career in the cutting pen with multitudes of titles and lifetime earnings of $ 71,271 plus has progeny earnings .
Much thought went into whom to breed the mare to when given the opportunity to get an embryo out of the great mare . Both Scott and Kim are big believers in mare power , so they chose to put the mare in foal to ‘ One Stylish Pepto ’, who is out of the great ‘ One Moore Spin ’. Dams of champions , there ’ s Mare power on the top and bottom side , the resulting progeny ‘ A Little Turpulence ’.
A Little Turpulence was trained by Scott and competed as a cutter until he was about 8 years old . He was an NCHA Futurity , Derby and Classic finalist and both Scott and Kim competed on him . He marked plenty of big scores in the cutting pen . He was the NCHA Open Classic winner in 2015 , NCHA 2015 Breeders Incentive Open Classic – 5th . He then had a couple of years just sitting in the paddock before Scott approached Dave Thorn about Campdrafting him .
The 12yo Bay Roan Stallion began his Campdrafting career in 2017 with Dave Thorn from Walllendbeen in Southern NSW .
