Congratulations to all Champions and place getters in all six divisions of the ARBC Derby, we thank you all for making the trek to the ARBC and we look forward to welcoming you all back again next year.
Thank you to everyone that travelled from as far as Victoria to compete at our show, Mick Taylor, Cameron Halliwell and Keiran Moses. Special congratulations to Cameron Halliwell and Keiran Moses for once again travelling up from Tatura in Victoria and taking home a whopping prize money stash of over $ 13,500 in cash, not to mention the buckles and prizes you both won as well.
The introduction of our Friday Evening Feature Event the ARBC OPEN Working Cowhorse drew a total of 14 competitors to the Dalby Arena. We had Mr Ian Francis as our judge for this event and the atmosphere was electric as each competitor took to the pen to do their dry work, followed by each one working a cow in the main arena. There were some spectacular displays of horsemanship shown in this event and we thank everyone for attending to cheer them on. We had a few hundred vocal spectators in the stand to enjoy this feature event. This event proved to be so popular we are expanding on this event in 2019, to include a Reiners and Challenge Team Calcutta. More info on this event will be published in early 2019.
