TIMES UP Q-75580 HAD A SUCCESSFUL WEEK @ THE NUTRIEN CAMPDRAFT BEING THE HIGHEST SCORING QUARTER HORSE IN THE OPEN AND STALLION CAMPDRAFTS , PLACING SECOND OVERALL IN BOTH . THE 12YO STALLION BOASTING RUNS OF 89 , 3 X 90 ’ S AND A 92 OVER THE TWO DRAFTS .

The Stallion has been the quiet achiever

since he arrived in Australia in April 2013 . Peter & Jacinta Shumack searched for a Sire to replace ‘ Racketeer Cat ’ ( Q-51703 ) ( IMP ) and put over their ‘ Racketeer Cat ’ Mares . Friend , Eddie Flynn , had shown the Dam ‘ Boon San Kitty ( USA-3955171 )’ and told the couple about Times Up Q-75580 , he was purchased through a Fort Worth Sale in late 2012 , and then went into quarantine in preparation for the journey to his new home .
Arriving in Tamworth one month before the NCHA Futurity he went straight into training . Times Up was the NCHA Reserve Champion Non-Pro Classic Challenge that year . He went on to win the Toowoomba and Victorian Non-Pro where he was Classics / Challenge Champion . The following year in 2014 winning the North Star Non-Pro Classic Challenge . He also carried Matilda to an NCHA Youth Title in 2015 and won and placed in many numerous Cutting events .
Starting his Campdraft training in 2016 with Mike Cole from NEBO , Times Up went onto win the 2016 / 2017 ACA Rookie Horse of the Year and the Novice Horse of the year . He placed 3rd overall in the Open Campdraft at the ACA Finals held in Clermont . An excellent achievement for a young horse ! Times up spent the 2016 / 2017 breeding season at home in Tamworth , then returned to Mike for another successful Campdraft season . Times Up had commenced the 2017 / 2018 breeding season when he suffered a colic episode and required surgery , this resulted in limited bookings of Mares .
Peter and Jacinta wanted to keep the Stallion closer to home and approached Hugh Miles to campaign him with the three big drafts in mind .
Initially , Hugh could only ride Times Up Q-75580 at Condamine . Still , after his performance there Hugh wanted to ride him at Warwick , and they made the final of the Stallion Campdraft , from then on concentrating on the bigger Campdrafts . ‘ He has the foot speed to get him there and the ability to control his beast .’
In 2019 Times Up Q-75580 won a round at the prestigious Willinga Park Campdraft . Last year at the Nutrien Campdraft , Times Up Q-75580 ran a 93 in the Stallion Draft ’ s first round . Just recently in November 2020 , the Stallion won the 1st round of the Open Draft at Coolah with a 91 point run taking home $ 5,000 and the cutout prize of $ 500 .
A testament to his temperament and intelligence was in May 2019 at Willinga Park when Para- Equestrian Emma Booth spoke to Hugh Miles in search of a horse to ride for a demonstration . Peter and Hugh suggested , Times Up Q-75580 . The Stallion had run a 24 yard in the cutout the night before but was a true gentleman when Emma mounted up-armed with two dressage whips Emma had the Campdrafter doing dressage within 20 minutes .
They completed their pre-entertainment display with Brett Parberry in front of a crowd of 5,000 people . The next day he was back in Campdraft mode and top-scored in the Campdraft .
Times Up sister Boon San Bunny , sold for $ 400,000 at the NCHA Futurity sale Fort Worth TX Dec 2020 .
Providing a Sire to the Campdraft breeders Times Up has been diverse in the industry , capturing the Rodeo competitors ’ eye , including Barrel Race and Rope & Tie competitors .
