2022 AQHA PRESIDENT REPORT - KIM JOHNSON
PRESIDENT REPORT Big hello to you all , hope you are all enjoying being back showing and riding your Quarter Horses .
We ’ ve been able to close out the financial year in a very strong position . A big thank you to you the members for your support of your association , and the your Board of Directors for being diligent in there management of the association . I would also like to thank our General Manager and office staff for all their hard work and effort .
It ’ s that time of year again where Membership renewals are due at the end of July . If you were financial this season don ’ t forget you can renew online or contact the girls in the office to process over the phone .
Just a reminder we have Board of Directors nominations closing on the 15th August , so any members keen to move AQHA forward as a team player don ’ t forget the closing date and submit your nomination today .
We also have the JUDGING CONVENTION on at the end of July this will be great to attend for all members and judges , don ’ t miss this event .
We have some exciting events happening in the next couple of months . First one is our YWC selection camp , this will be lots of fun and we have some of the best Professional Horsemen as clinicians for our Youth to learn from with lots of activities . Good luck to all applicants , see you there .
Also a leading International event is the AQHA Trans-Tasman , in September with teams from New Zealand , New Caledonia and our AQHA Team Australia . This event with see some great competition between the countries with both Amateurs and Youth teams competing . Good Luck to all teams , enjoy the journey , laughter , new friendships , fun and clinics .
As we look forward to the Breeding Season with all the new AQHA baby foals due , continue to enjoy riding your Quarter Horses .
