A HORSE OBSESSED GIRL GROWING UP , THE ELDEST OF FIVE GIRLS WHO ALL RODE , HER CHILDHOOD WAS FILLED WITH HORSES AND THE OUTDOORS .
With no formal training , their experience came through trial , error and fun . Although Julie Breed didn ’ t attend many Rodeos as a youngster , when the opportunity arose , she found herself drawn to the Barrel Racing and dreamt one day to compete . Although her career didn ' t start until 17 , Julie has been competing for around 35 years now . She has racked up some accomplishments along the way , including the recent ABHA State Championships held in Marrabel , SA , where Julie not only won the title but placed second and third as well .
