~ FEATURE ~ PG.18 Sage and Max at the Q19 Greg also came along to help and support the kids. He enjoyed himself so much that he decided he wanted to come back the following year and show, too. So the next year, we all got to go and show! Q16 saw Indoxicated Q-70579 win the first Australian Ranch Riding Champion in Open and Amateur. Between Greg and myself, Indoxicated Q-70579 competed at Q16 in Ranch Riding, Working Cow Horse, Boxing, Team Penning, Team Roping, Trail, Western Horsemanship, Western Riding and Campdrafting. He ended up winning four buckles and went Top Ten in most other events. Because we thoroughly enjoyed it so much, we’ve now travelled down to the Nationals every year since. Unfortunately for Greg, he did lose his horse to the kids though! We made the decision to collect, and then geld Indoxicated Q-70579, so that our kids could show him. He is such a gentle horse.’ At Q19, the Potter family had a great time with a lot of fun making memories, with Nate winning his first buckle on Indoxicated Q-70579, in the 11yrs & under Junior Youth Trail.
