The 2025 sale concluded with impressive overall results, reflecting continued strength and confidence in the performance horse market, particularly in the cutting horse sector. With strong averages, high clearance, and standout individual sales, this year’ s event showcased both depth of pedigree and the increasing demand for elite bloodstock.
OVERALL SALE PERFORMANCE Sale Average: $ 35,028 Clearance Rate: 75 %
TOP-PERFORMING FILLIES Fillies were a clear highlight of the sale, achieving an average of $ 47,071.
NOTABLE RESULTS: Lot 15: Metallic Maiden Q-102330- Top Price of the Sale: Sold for $ 110,000. This exceptional filly was offered by Kempsey Quarter Horses and purchased by MCC Performance Horses. She is by Metallic Cat Q-72828 and out of the champion mare I Wont Back Down Q-90534. Lot 3: Heytell, a striking filly by Smooth Talkin Style and out of Marilyn Monroc Q-70063, offered by Myvista Livestock Co. She sold for $ 60,000 to Mikes Meats Pty Ltd. These results affirm the strong market demand for high-quality fillies from proven performance lines.
COLT HIGHLIGHTS: Colts recorded an average price of $ 34,500, with several lots attracting strong bidding and achieving standout results.
KEY SALES: LOT 16: FEVER ISH Q-104208, by Dual Reyish and out of Dainty Pepto Girl, this colt was offered by Lloyd and Carlee Neilsen and purchased for $ 60,000 by J. L. Harris. LOT 18: FRANSCISCO, presented by PJ & JM Shumack. This colt is by Sigala Rey out of the exceptional mare Fair Lady Flash. He sold for $ 60,000 to JLR Property Co. LOT 19: BADLANZ Q-104231, a colt by Stevie Rey Von and out of Spinies Bad Girl, offered by Barcode Direct Pty Ltd, purchased for $ 60,000 by Ali Ali.
