The WA Quarter Horse Association hosted the show with the help of the Western Australian Paint Horse Association and Perth Regional Appaloosa Club . Our judges for the weekend were Leanne Bartlett , Queensland and Carol Elliott , Victoria .

The show attracted 33 competitors and 37 Quarter Horses , Paints , Paint Bred and Appaloosas , with a total of 200 classes entered over the weekend .
The All-Age Halter Feature ( AQHA / AAA / PHAA ) sponsored by Lana Denteith attracted 11 horses for the large line up .
THE PLACINGS WERE : 1st – “ Love to Holiday ” shown by Kerry Blackaller 2nd- “ Certain to be Good ” shown by Carly Ganzer 3rd – “ SP Moment to Shine ” shown by Tea Appleton
In the ridden events , the All-Age Hunter Under Saddle , sponsored by Spec Fencing was taken home by Tracy Allen with her QH Gelding “ Littlestone Kryptonite ” with Jacinta Bolsenbroek riding her Paint Bred mare Invited with Love in reserve place .
The John Turner Farrier Services All Age Ranch Riding Feature Champion went to Invited with Love shown by owner Jacinta Bolsenbroek with Carly Ganzer and
Calamitys Commander in Reserve place . Jacinta and her mare Invited With Love also won crowned the Veronica Bertola All Age Feature Trail Champions with Charlotte Maney and Inscription coming in a close second , sponsored by Veronica Bertola .
Our Rocky Creek Ranch All Age Western Pleasure Feature Champions went to Hes Somethin Layzee shown by owner Rae Hare with DP Will Lope With Grace and rider Elise Young placing Reserve .
All Feature winners each took home a lovely garland , $ 100 fuel voucher , a bottle of wine and some stable goods prizes , thanks to Horseland Midland .
There was a jackpot prize taken from the trail practice going towards the highest scoring Trail score which was taken out by youth rider Charlotte Maney and her mare Inscription won with a score of 75 .
WAQHA president Elise Young said we hope this is one of many joint-venture events at our new home grounds in Coolup .
“ We were very grateful to attract some fantastic entry numbers and some new faces ,” she said . “ We are about community , family and sportsmanship and this event truly captured that .”
