But with a high level of professional commitment to the industry , Kevin & Wayne , always with an enormous amount of generosity , have regularly and consistently supported AQHA events . Southern Cross Saddlery has been sponsoring AQHA clubs , shows and events for many years now , with AQHA clubs and members across the country benefitting from their sponsorship . Kevin says that Southern Cross Saddlery , as a sponsor , has put up many prize saddles and sometimes gear for AQHA Members who compete in Challenges and Campdrafts , but has also put up some Western Saddles for some of the Reining and Western Performance shows , which many of the AQHA members show in .
‘ If clubs are going , surviving and running well ,’ Kevin says . ‘ They ’ ll have their members , and their new members coming on , and they ’ ll end up spending money through the equine businesses in the industry . There are a lot of equine-related businesses around the country , and if people are buying horses , saddles , products and floats , etcetera , that just makes it all happen . The whole industry goes around by supporting one another . If the businesses are making money , then they can sponsor events and classes , if they ’ re not making money , then they can ’ t . That ’ s how it all works , and it ’ s as simple as that .’
On saying that , both Kevin and Wayne would like to say thank you to the AQHA and its members for supporting them as a business , and they hope to be able to continue with their service as saddlemakers long into the future .
