Long-time AQHA sponsors , Kevin Peatey & Wayne Parker , proprietors of Southern Cross Saddlery , each have a big heart for the Quarter Horse industry .
AQHA supporter and sponsor , Southern Cross Saddlery , is based in Caboolture , Queensland , and was established in 1997 through a business partnership between saddlemakers , Kevin Peatey and Wayne Parker . It proved to be one very successful venture , with Southern Cross Saddlery now handcrafting and making a variety of top quality saddles and tack , for the past 38 years . Both Kevin & Wayne began as apprentice saddlers , around the age of fifteen , and are now equally very proud of what their business has become .
The two very dedicated saddlemakers do an incredible job building top quality saddles , and have also built up a very large , happy and satisfied customer base . Their saddles & tack are not only shipped across Australia , but also internationally , to countries like America , New Zealand and New Caledonia .
