The Ranch Riding has proven to be a favourite amongst our
competitors with many entries received. Congratulations
to Gail Rapley and Got The Laredo Blues for taking out the
All Age Open & Select Amateur Ranch Riding sponsored by
Karen Nicoletto Show Horses. Gail also won a free stallion
service to Spinboonafex kindly donated by Shamara Mar-
shall.
Next on the schedule of events were the Western
Pleasure events. Congratulations to all winners and place-
getters. The Bushby Hay Junior Horse WP Champion was
awarded to REQ All Things Nice ridden by Brian Cramp and
the Bushby Hay Senior Horse WP Champion went to Certain-
ly Dolled up shown by Kayla Rainoldi.
A favourite amongst the crowd is watching the Tiny Tots Led
Line 3-6yrs & Youth Walk Jog 5-10yrs, proudly
sponsored by Cavallino Estate. Our State Champion Led Line
winners were Wesley Deutscher riding Littlestone Look Im
Lazy, Bianca Balgera riding Skips Hot Cookie, Valentino Zito
riding YLS Garnet and Domenico Zito riding Sweet Ride of
Mine. Our State Champion Youth Walk Jog went to Chloe De-
ustcher riding Calamitys Commander with Ella Maney and
Inscription coming in at Reserve Champion.
Moving onto the Western Horsemanship – Logic Cranes
sponsored the Novice Youth, Youth 14-18yrs & Youth
7-13yrs events with State Champions awarded to Katie Way
riding Her Fathers Daughter, Devyn Naef riding Inquisitive
Profit and Charlotte Maney riding Inscription. State Cham-
pion in the Serenity Hill Show Horses Select Amateur event
went to Pam Eglinton riding One Sexy Top, Duck Pool Farms
Amateur Horsemanship went to Rebecca Zito and Sweet
Ride of Mine, Novice Amateur Horsemanship State Champi-
on was Jaiden Thompson riding YLS Knowtorious and our
RWD State Champion was Gina Storey riding Arrum.

Saturday night saw the Western Pleasure Features being
run. Congratulations to the Duckpool Farm Amateur
Feature Western Pleasure Champion – Paula Balgera
riding Skips Hot Cookie who also took home a show top
kindly donated by Showtime Show Clothing USA valued at
$300USD. Our Braeside Performance Horses Youth Feature
Champion was Charlotte Maney riding Inscription who also
took home a $500USD show pad proudly sponsored by Erin
Rhea Show Pads USA. The Harris Saddlery All Age Open
Western Pleasure Feature Champion was won by Skips Hot
Cookie shown by Paula Balgera, taking home a beautiful
headstall valued over $1800 USD.
Sunday came around rather quickly after a jam-packed
fun weekend of horses and competition! Sunday consisted
of Halter and English ridden. Our Yearling Halter Feature
Champion was Futera Gimmie Good Signs shown by Bridget
de Bijl and our 2 & Over Feature Champion was Sweet Ride
of Mine shown by Rebecca Zito. Congratulations everyone.

Champion Open & Amateur Mare was awarded to Im
Pawsitively SurelyGood owned by Karen Cornish who won a
breeding package kindly donated by Valley Equine Vets, with
Sweet Ride of Mine owned by Rebecca Zito in Reserve Cham-
pion. Sweet Ride of Mine went on to win Champion Youth
Mare with Mia Tierney, with Wesley Deutscher & Littlestone
Look Im Lazy in Reserve. Champion Open, Amateur & Youth
Gelding went to YLS Garnet owned by Sharon Currie, youth
handler Katie Way. Reserve Champion Open Gelding was
won by Jabelle Cee Ima Hotrod owned by Jai Rowe, shown
by Chloe Deutscher in the Youth. Reserve Amateur Gelding
was awarded to Littlestone Kryptonite owned by Tracy Al-
len. Thank you to Hollywood Quarter Horses, Emalin Eques-
trian, Valley Equine Vets and Bushby Hay for your donation
towards these events.
Moving on to the showmanship events – congratulations
to our Northam Chaff Select Amateur State Champion was
awarded to Kerry Blackaller showing Winderadeen Some-
hotlies, with Tracy Allen and Calamitys Commander in
Reserve. Our GT Performer Amateur State Champion was
