The Loddon Shire Mayor Dan Straub, attended the afternoon tea and helped our club president Carlie Turnbull cut the delicious 50th Anniversary cake made by Lindee Frost. It was cut and then some of our junior members took it around ensuring that every-one had the opportunity of sampling a piece. This included spectators, competitors, and even those at their goosenecks and floats far away from the club rooms. They did a great job.
We were very fortunate to have many Sponsors who supported this show contributing towards the costs, as well as providing many lovely prizes for the competitors and the raffle. This included many competitors who bought some goodies along and add-ed them on the weekend after the thank you lists were printed. These are all much appreciated and certainly added to the fun of the raffle Saturday night.
