This Wrae was sired by This Cats Destiny , a stallion by WR This Cats Smart out of Fred & Kim ’ s great cutting mare , Colonel ’ s Destiny . As a beautiful weanling colt , This Cat ’ s Destiny unfortunately sustained a serious eye injury . With an uncertain future , he was purchased by Guy & Nikki Morgan , Fred and Kim ’ s daughter and sonin-law . Guy ultimately broke the colt in , and began his training anyway .
The stallion impressed everyone by adapting to his vision issue , and under Guy ’ s training and guidance , became a remarkable success story , with both Nikki and Guy riding him . From 14 aged events , the stallion has finaled in 11 and was champion in three . This Cats Destiny has gone on to produce many champion cutting horses , including This Wrae .
To note , This Wrae and Aaron Wheatley also clinched the Longyard Hotel Open Futurity Gelding Incentive , scoring 220 points .
