‘ GROWING up on the NSW central coast , I spent time playing sports , like netball and water polo . During school holiday visits with Dad , I developed an obsession for horses , but never rode one until 2013 . I did ride a road bike and that was fun . I ’ ve now been blessed with three children , Taj , Kyah and Taya , who all enjoy showing , and I have an amazing partner in Ben , who ’ s outgoing and funny .

My work in Building Design and Construction Management led us to a development property in Jindabyne , big enough for livestock . We bought our first Quarter horse , and over the next five years , ended up with twenty ! Jindabyne was busy ; horses , snowboarding in Winter and wakeboarding in Summer on the lake . I did my first Western Pleasure class in 2014 on Extreme Dream , a phenomenal loper . She had flow and rhythm , with huge drive and hock , a feeling that got me instantly hooked-the strength and power of a pleasure horse , but softness over the ground . So , I know it ’ s never too late to start . Many exhibitors have started later in life with great success . When we moved to Queensland in 2021 , I had time with the horses , and that ’ s also allowed me to concentrate on breeding some beautiful babies . Foaling season ’ s my favourite time !

‘ Its a Pretty Thing was bred by Kelsey Tumey , in Rockville Indiana , USA . Super easy to work with , Callie always had a little spunk . Started by Kelsey , and mostly trained by Aaron Moses , she became one of the most noticed 3yo Western Pleasure horses on the US show circuit , winning many major futurities that year . After winning the NSBA World Champion Junior Western Pleasure Horse and AQHA Reserve World Champion in 2019 , she was
