Raelene Higgins and One Hellofa Spin Q-42160 substantial interest in the colt , but when the bidding was finally done , he topped the sale at $ 70,000 , going to the Allstar Syndicate , with syndicate partners , Mat Oakley and Wayne Saddler , thrilled with their purchase . Notably , Mat had been initially drawn to the colt ’ s very outstanding bloodlines . The Allstar Syndicate has since gone on to enjoy many significant Cutting wins with Highway To Hell . More recently the stallion has proved his versatility with his successful transition into the sport of Campdrafting .
Raelene is so pleased that Highway To Hell Q-73584 has become the success that he has for his owners , and for her as the breeder , and can only see more of the same with his move into Campdrafting .
‘ Campdrafting was that next step in his career ,’ she concludes . ‘ As his breeder , I always hoped that when I sold him though the Nutrien Sale , he ’ d have the opportunity to take advantage of incentives offered , and go Campdrafting , and have the chance to put money back into the new owners ’ pockets , because that is a big thing . He ’ s the type of horse that was always going to do that , without a doubt . He has that great connection with the people around him , a bit like his mother , and there ’ s no doubt that his owners just love him .’
