TRANS TASMAN HELD IN IN BENALLA , VICTORIA FROM 19TH - 25TH SEPTEMBER 2022

THE BI-ANNUALLY TRANS-TASMAN EVENT WAS HELD IN AUSTRALIA IN SEPTEMBER ITS ALTERNATIVELY HELD IN NEW ZEALAND .
The competition was originally a youth only event , in its inception it was to give youth an opportunity to compete as a team on other horses to get experience for the American Youth World Cup Event , held in July bi-annually , in various countries around the world . Both Youth World Cup and Trans Tasman are great opurtunitys for our AQHA youth .
In 2009 at Tonimbuk Victoria , saw the introduction of Amateur teams being invited to compete against New Zealand at the Trans- Tasman event .
The last time it was held in Queensland Australia , at QSEC at this event the AQHA members from New Caledonian were invited to attend and compete as individuals .
In 2022 saw the New Caledonians invited as part of the Team Competition . Making it a 3 Youth Team and 3 Amateur Team competition .
