REYS YA GARTER ... When it comes to their stallion , Reys Ya Garter , Corey can easily say that he ’ s one of the best horses he ’ s ever had the privilege to train or show . As a young horse , Rey was always cowy and had so much try . He not only has all the qualities that the Holdens ’ look for in a horse , he also has a huge heart and a very willing mind . A couple of serious accidents early on affected Rey ’ s cutting career , causing him to miss a lot of showing . But when he did show , he did it very well . He had his share of success and really lit up on a cow .
With a successful change in performance direction , Reys Ya Garter is now competing successfully in Campdrafting , and the stallion loves it ! Rey ’ s progeny are also proving their worth in both Campdrafting and Cutting , with some impressive results . Rey is campaigned by Hugh Miles Breeding & Performance Horses ’ facilities at Tamworth .
