AQHA SHOW REPORT: 2026 PENINSULA QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION DELIVERS ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL FEBRUARY FLING

The success of the show was made possible by the tireless efforts of the many volunteers and officials who worked behind the scenes throughout the weekend. Peninsula Quarter Horse Association extends its sincere appreciation to the dedicated stewards and volunteers whose commitment ensured the event ran smoothly from start to finish.
The association also gratefully acknowledges the expertise of its judging panel and their hardworking scribes. Thank you to Glenn Wyse and Denise Banks, Shelly Leggett and Carolyn Mitchem, Craig Rath and Belinda, and Lorelei Payne and Deb Allen for their professionalism and invaluable contribution throughout the event.

Away from the competition arenas, the ever popular canteen was a hub of activity, with Maxine and Deb working tirelessly to keep competitors, officials and spectators well fed and refreshed over the busy weekend.
Most importantly, Peninsula Quarter Horse Association extends a heartfelt thank you to every competitor who travelled to Tonimbuk to support the event. Their enthusiasm, sportsmanship and passion for Quarter Horses continue to make the February Fling one of the highlights of the performance calendar.
Following another outstanding weekend of Western Performance and Ranch Versatility competition, the Peninsula Quarter Horse Association is already looking ahead with excitement. If this year ' s event is anything to go by, competitors can expect an even bigger and better February Fling when the association returns next year in 2027.
