incentives! At the Warwick
Gold Cup, in October, 2019,
a few AQHA members found
out how good it really is!
T
he undeniably iconic Australian
equine sport of Campdrafting got
its roots in the late 1800s when
stockmen, keen to prove who had the
fastest and most talented horse on a
cow, began to compete against each
other, with more than likely, a few bets thrown
into the ring. From that humble beginning, and 130
years odd years later, the sport continues to grow.
With a Quarter horse’s speed and their desire to
work a cow, Campdrafting is an event they are well
suited for. The Warwick Gold Cup, hosted by the
Warwick Show and Rodeo Society, in Warwick,
