Maddy ’ s sire , known as Alex , has produced multiple Champions and Grand Champions across the board , including AQHA National and State , AQHA and Open Futurities , NPHA , Australian Halter Showcase , Versatility Champions , as well as ROM earners and ridden winners . Jessica , Michael and their children , 17yo Brianna , and 13yo Nicholas , have been a large part of the stallion ’ s success , having prepared , shown or helped with many of his progeny .
Maddy ’ s dam is KC Sublique Q-80334 , bred by Kristin Carroll , of NSW , and now owned by Rock Solid Quarter Horses . Maddy has a full sister , OVS Subtle Down Q-100326 , bred by Jessica , and owned by Mavis Marshall and Robert Lindemann .
Maddy has exceeded all expectations , and Jessica says she has been one of the most amazing mares to show . She loves what she does , loves the pampering that comes with it and she knows what her job is in the Halter pen . Maddy began her show career as a weanling , competing minimally at a few local shows , with Covid putting a halt on everything . The 2020 Queensland Quarter Horse State Show was pushed out to September , 2020 , where Maddy won the Queensland State Show Champion Weanling and the Queensland State Show Amateur Champion Weanling .
