resolution of the Board in accordance with the Constitution and will be displayed on the Association web site. 5. INDEMNITY Every member who supplies the Association with particulars relating to any horse will indemnify and keep indemnified the Association from and against all actions, suits, causes or action, claims and demands which may be brought or made against the Association in respect of the registration of such horse or its progeny, provided the information recorded by the Association is that presented to it by such member. 6. DISCIPLINARY ACTION 6.1 The Board will take action in accordance with its Constitution to: Reprimand, fine, suspend or expel a Member, the representative of any Member, or the Member of any Member (being a Life Member, a Constituent Member or an Affiliate Member) if it considers that Member to be guilty of fraud, dishonesty or any conduct which, in the opinion of the Directors, is; a) Unbecoming of a Member or a representative of a member; b) Prejudicial to the interests of the Association; c) In breach of the Constitu tion and/or other regulations of the Association; or d) Fraudulent. 6.2 Incidents at Shows: a) Will be investigated by the Show Manager; b) The Show Manager, informed of the incident, will speak to the alleged offender and inform him/her, that a report will be filed with the Association re this alleged incident; c) If the Show Manager cites an alleged incident, they must take action as per this rule; d) The AQHA Office will put forward any incident reported, to the Investigate Committee to determine whether the alleged incident is founded and if further action is required; e) If an exhibitor, owner, and/or his/her representative acting on behalf of the exhibitor, is found to have engaged in: i) unsportsmanlike conduct; ii) inhumane treatment of a horse; or iii) a breach of any rule in this Rule Book; then they will be reported to the Association. f) The Association can give a warning, fine and/or suspend the showing rights of the exhibitor, owner and/or his/her representative acting on behalf of the exhibitor/owner, to participate in future approved shows for such period as the Association deems appropriate; g) A decision on the level of offence, (being mild, moderate or severe,) will be determined by the Investigative Committee. If a fine or penalty is to be imposed, it will be determined by the table listed below; h) If an adverse decision is reached by the Investigative Committee, then the member in question has the right to appeal to the Board of Directors.
