And the ego (ahamkar) is anger (krodh) and pride (maan).
This is how these four qualities (gunas) have arisen, thus the
Gnani Purush separates two things: he makes a division, a line
of demarcation between the Atma (Self) and the non-Self
(anatma), so that they are separated! Furthermore, it is separate!
It is indeed separate.
When One Becomes Intellect-Free, One Can
Become One With All
Questioner: But Veda gives us a description of oneness
(abhedta), does it not?
Dadashri: Yes. But has everyone not given us a description
of abheda (absence of difference or distinction; non duality;
oneness)? But to attain oneness (abheda) is difficult. Unless you
dissolve the Veda and drink it, you will not have oneness. That
is because as long as the intellect (buddhi) does not leave,
oneness will not arise. The intellect creates a division (bhed).
Who creates division (bhed)? It is those with intellect; they are
the ones that create division.
Now, if you wanted to make your whole village free of
