CLAY PLAY

This fun class provides an introduction to clay , glazes and the basics of hand building ; a creative and educational way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of ceramics . Clay Play is a great way to let your child get hands-on art experience in a classroom setting .

EXPERIMENT WITH CLAY

Learn basic clay building techniques and decorating and glazing techniques using a wide variety of colors . All new projects will be introduced in every session . Returning students are encouraged to work on their own projects with instructor guidance . Clay , glazes and tools are provided .

DRAWING

This class provides an introduction to the basic materials , methods , and principles of drawing and painting . As students create artworks in various media , they will gain an understanding of shape form , value , texture , composition , proportion and color .

WATERCOLOR I

Explore color theory , color mixing , brush techniques , wash and paint application through the medium of watercolor in this beginner level course . Gain an understanding of line , form , space , color , value , and composition through step-by-step instruction , direct observation and studies of masterful watercolor pieces .
